 Linking to Chookshed challenge

I have finished two more scarves for charity.

I finished quilting one of my mother's quilts and delivered it to her to finish stitching down the binding.

I need to finish quilting the next quilt.

Mid may progress

 Linking to Chookshed challenge

This months challenge was to quilt any tops for the Treasured babies charity.
I only had one unquilted.
That is now done and the binding on ready to stitch down.

I finished sewing in the ends of the baby blanket and finished 4 pairs of fingerless mitts as well as 7 scarves. They will be dropped off tomorrow for the charity KOGO.

I finall stopped procrastinating and basted 2 quilt tops. I have started the ditch and walking foot quilting on the first one. I will then do the same to the second one before trying out the fancy quilting on my new machine.
It is a big learning curve.

Down the rabbit hole

I really need more work on goal setting.

Generally,  the minute I set a goal, I go off in a different direction.

I did finish knitting the baby blanket, but I still have to finish off the ends.

That did mean that I had no knitting for car journeys and I have a lot this week.

I grabbed a tub of yarn that I was given for charity projects and there was a started scarf, but it wasn't suitable for car knitting. I decided to finish it and then finished 3 more.

I knitted a pair of fingerless gloves, tweeked the pattern and made a second pair.

They still need to be sewn up.

I am anticipating knitting a few more pairs this week.

We will see what happens  now that I have made that pronouncement.

Catch-up

It has been a long time between posts, so i will start with my first catchup post.
These little pouches are a donation to the Victorian wildlife rescue service to be used for baby marsupials.

The yarn for this scarf was a donation and the finished product was lovely and warm and donated to KOGO.

This scarf and hat were knitted for a friend of DS#1 who was from Queensland and freezing during officer training in Gippsland in winter.

Another scarf for KOGO.

ninteen finishes

I thought that I had not been finishing many things but I had really just got behind in publishing things to the blog.
When I looked at the photos I had ready to upload I had forgotten about things that were finished.
The first is a scarf knitted for charity

Five towels trimmed with swedish weaving, 3 to give and two to keep.

Four knitted tea cosies.
Now my pots will stay warm.

I recovered this couch and made new cushions

A cardigan for a great niece

A sweater for a great niece.
The photo does not do the pattern justice.
It has cables and basketweave stitch.

Same patterned cardigan, different great niece

New mitt for DH

Two sleep sacks for granddaughter.
Minkie looks and feels lovely but is awful to stitch.
