Mid may progress

 Linking to Chookshed challenge

This months challenge was to quilt any tops for the Treasured babies charity.
I only had one unquilted.
That is now done and the binding on ready to stitch down.

I finished sewing in the ends of the baby blanket and finished 4 pairs of fingerless mitts as well as 7 scarves. They will be dropped off tomorrow for the charity KOGO.

I finall stopped procrastinating and basted 2 quilt tops. I have started the ditch and walking foot quilting on the first one. I will then do the same to the second one before trying out the fancy quilting on my new machine.
It is a big learning curve.

Making progress

I have finished binding three little quilts for Treasured Babies

I have finally sorted out the problem with my new machine and am powering ahead with quilting.
Here are two baby quilts waiting for binding.
A third quilt is at the machine almost finished.

Many finishes

I have had many finishes in the last few weeks.
First up was 29 little quilts.
They are  20 inches square ( 50cm) and are used for premature stillborn babies.

I made several from each fabric

The one below is my favourite.
I fussy cut the image for the heart

This quilt was made by my mother.
I have quilted it for her and now she is stitching down the binding.

I just finished quilting this sampler quilt.
I used it to teach a class in advanced patchwork.
It was pieced by hand and then machine quilted.

These two crocheted rugs are for Hamlin Fistual Hospital in Eithiopia
