ninteen finishes

I thought that I had not been finishing many things but I had really just got behind in publishing things to the blog.
When I looked at the photos I had ready to upload I had forgotten about things that were finished.
The first is a scarf knitted for charity

Five towels trimmed with swedish weaving, 3 to give and two to keep.

Four knitted tea cosies.
Now my pots will stay warm.

I recovered this couch and made new cushions

A cardigan for a great niece

A sweater for a great niece.
The photo does not do the pattern justice.
It has cables and basketweave stitch.

Same patterned cardigan, different great niece

New mitt for DH

Two sleep sacks for granddaughter.
Minkie looks and feels lovely but is awful to stitch.

The start of the year

It has been a slow start to the year as far as finishes go but there has been a lot of progress behind the scenes.
Finishes so far have been two sleep sacks for my grand daughter

A blanket done with Swedish weaving

A charity baby blanket

Wipocalypse December finish

I have another finish for the year.
This is the third in a series of cotton blankets  decorated with Swedish weaving.
They are very fun to do and I have the next one started

Wipocalypse November finishes

I am still hoping to get back to my hand stitching but other things keep moving to the front of the queue.
Below are 11 laundry bags that have been made and sent for aussie hero quilts

This is a commission wedding quilt

Knitted baby blanket for Hamlin Fistula hospital

I had some cotton yarn left over from some baby knitting and didn't want to squirrel it away so knitted it up into dish cloths and wash cloths.

Wipocalypse October back to stitching

I was pleased to be able to sneak some time to do some more stitching on my canvaswork.
I have the next two sections almost finished.
I am looking forward to my progress for next month

Early Christmas

I really enjoyed making this ready for Christmas.
I love lighthouses and this one has twenty little lights around it.
I have another Christmas project in the wings that I hope to finish in the next month or so.

I made a new stocking for DGS and that was really fun to do as well.

I did this quick little hat as a request for a great niece
