I have finished binding three little quilts for Treasured Babies

 

I have finally sorted out the problem with my new machine and am powering ahead with quilting.

Here are two baby quilts waiting for binding.

A third quilt is at the machine almost finished.

Mid February update

 This is a close up of some of the embroidery on my mother's quilt. 

I have done some more quilting on it but it is a little challenging as some of the pieced blocks are not quite accurate and the issues are not quilting out.

I will leave it on the sidelines for now while a ponder possible solutions. 

My #2 project,  I  have pieced and quilted 3 little quilts for Treasured Babies charity.

The bindings are now sewn on ready to stitch down.

February update

 I quite stalled on the quilting on my mother’s quilt.

I have finally got back to it. I should be getting a new machine this month. The machine I am using is over 35 years old and makes the task a little less enjoyable.

I  was given many balls of yarn recently and have been knitting scarves for a charity that I support.

I finished 2 hand towels using the pattern below.

This month’s number is #2, quilt tops for treasured babies.

I have the fabric cut but will wait for the new machine to do the piecing.

It is be good practice for the machine.

In the meantime I will get back to the quilting
