Tour de fibre Day 1


Here is my quilting progress so far.
I have the bottom section and the border still to quilt

  4. What a georgious quilt to be! Love the white comming up to me as well as the blue colour staying behind, yes amazing effect :-) Great to be in the TdF group!

  6. I replied to your comment but the email bounced.

    Did it rain horribly while you were here? I have not known such weather
    like it! I will grow gills and webbed feet if it continues. It seems so
    unfair that we have so much rain and there are fires in Colorado.

    Thank you very much. It is a design by Lynette Anderson called Fox and
    Friends. I did her Pond House as if it were Monet's house in Giverny so
    the log cabins in that are all blues with a pink centre. These log
    cabins are in all the colours of fallen leaves- so effective. I am so
    pleased with how it is turning out. I pieced a back this morning and
    hope to get it to the binding stage this evening.

    It is one of the 4 Tour projects, so I am keen to finish it as all 4 are
    big projects.

    1. Yes Melanie, it sure did rain while we were there and flood as well. I have now found out how to fix the email bouncing problem, so thank you for the heads up.
