June Wipocalypse

The question  for the  month is if you stitch more in the summer or the winter.
for me it would be the winter. We are busy over summer with visitors and with our vegetable garden, so I am hoping  for more progress by the  fireside.

I have started my second flower of four on my cushion.

My canvas work has grown with all the sky now being stitched.
I look forward to seeing the progress of others.

A few more for May

Three more dishcloths for the kitchen
18 more washcloths for the bathroom.

I think that makes the total dish/washcloths for the year to 171!
It also means that the tub of cotton yarn is empty. About 4 1/4kg or 10.5 pounds of yarn used .

Lots of finishes

I sent off another quilt for Aussie Hero Quilts
I

I finished 10 dish cloths for the kitchen.

It doesn't look like a very big pile but there are 140 washcloths there.
They will be going to Ethiopia next month.

It has been lovely to get some big projects off the list.

Wipocalypse May

I have a little stitching finish, from the EMS flower of the month SAL.
I am making cushions, with 4 designs to each cushion.

I found this forgotten canvas project in the cupboard.

I have made progress in just one session.

Wipocalypse April

I was away last month, but that did enable me to get a little stitching done

My angel has made good progress and I am enjoying stitching her.

This is a new start, DH gave me this kit for my birthday.
I have made a start and it is lovely to stitch.

My tablecloth continues to grow.
I have worked 3/4 of the hearts around the centre panel and also continued work on filling in the honeycomb centre.

The question for this month about stitches
I am not a fan of loads of backstitch and usually avoid designs that require lots.
Happy stitching until next month.
