Wipocalypse September, different stitching

My canvas work has taken a back seat this month as I do some stitching and knitting in preparation for the arrival of a new grandchild.
The due date is today, but no appearance yet.
We are away from home, so hopefully when we return, the canvas work will make some progress

This is one block from the cot quilt, wish I knew why it imported sideways!

three good finishes

Firstly I have a little wrap over cardigan. This is from the Mason-Dixon knitting book.

A double breasted, hooded baby coat.
This cardigan for DGS took a about 5 days to embroider the fish and the boats.
I am pleased with the finished result but it was a surprising amount of work.
This is the front of the cardigan

I finished the wall banner, it is 11 inches high and 67 inches long.
My design and I am very happy with it.

Back to the knitting needles today and more finishes tomorrow.

Note to self

If you try knitting on a circular needle without a marker to distinguish the end of the round, and the pattern changes every round...and you are knitting in the movie theatre.....it will end with a lot of frogging to do.....just saying...

Finished Christmas out fit for the soon-to-be-born grandchild.

Progress day one

 The duffle coat is finished.

The background is pieced for the banner. It is 11 inches wide and 67 inches long.
I now need to start the design process.

I have 2/3 on this block appliquéd.

Today's list has been modified as we have an unexpected trip to the city.
It is a 5 hour round trip so I need to organise some suitable knitting to do.
More  progress tomorrow.

Poised at the start

I have a very busy two weeks ahead and have a tremendous amount I wish to accomplish.
The two biggest projects are a wall banner to design and stitch and a baby quilt to appliqué and finish.
There are a lot of knitting projects also.
The first is pictured above. I finished knitting it this week and today I am going to sew it up.
Tomorrow I will report my progress.

This is my progress on my Tulip canvas work.
I am really enjoying stitching this even though my time has been limited this month.

These are my last two finishes for July, two commission quilts.
I am pleased with the way they look.
