jacket finish


This lovely little jacket has double sided cable bands and required the cables to be grafted together at the centre of the hood. So it was a real learning experience but turned out well.

A jacket in seed stitch for DGS.
It has some growing room in it.
I am happy with the way it turned out.
I started this quite a few years ago.
It is a gannet.
I have previously stitched a companion piece, a pelican.

Log cabin quilt

This was from a kit I purchased about 12 years ago.
I am happy with the way this turned out

I was pleased to be able to find all that I needed for them in my cupboard

It was hand pieced and partly hand quilted and now I have finished it with machine quilting.

I am very pleased with this finish as it is the first time I have done free motion machine quilting on a quilt.
I did it around the applique and I am pleased with the way it turned out.
