Wipocalypse February update

I have a new project  to add to the SAL.
Is is the angel of spring, a lavender  and  lace  design.

I have not made any progress on my  cushion but I have on  my tablecloth, it just doesn't  really  show on a photo.

To this month's question
How do you overcome  that  feeling that  you're  in a  rut with a  particular  project.

Like many others I put the project aside, but try to work out the reason for the rut, to see if there is a work around the problem.

Happy stitching  until next month

First Finishes for 2015

These rugs and cushion covers are for the Hamlin store which raises money for the Hamlin Fistula hospital in Ethiopia.
There was one extra rug I forgot to photograph but I hope to included a picture soon.

WIPocalypse SAL 2015

I have joined in this SAL previously and thought that I would participate again.
You post your progress on the full moon each month.
I have chosen two projects so far.
This tablecloth is mammoth and I have recorded some it its story here

This is going to be a cushion for our pink guest room.

I am looking forward to seeing the progress of others.

final finishes for 2014

These are my final two finishes for 2014.
The first is a felt decoration.
It has little lights on it, they don't show well in the  photo.

This is another in the series of children's dresses I have been making.
There will be more dress in 2015 as I use up the last of the dressmaking stash.

I had 98 finishes for 2014 and I am looking forward to the delights of 2015

More for December

I finished two more little girls dresses after procrastinating about putting the zippers in.

There is hopefully enough time left in the year for some more finishes so that I can get my number to over 100.

another finish

This was a quick finish of a toddler hat and jacket.
The yarn was left over in my stash and I was able to use it all up.
