Now, this one really is an ugly quilt, but very very warm.
The top and the back are flannel and it has wool batting.
The fabric was left over from making nighties and pyjamas many years ago.
I made up the pattern as i went to try and use every scrap of the pink and blue flannel that i had.
As a warm quilt, it is very successful.

ReplyDeleteI've never sewn with flannel. I inherited the scraps of flannel left from my dad's mom, had them about 40 years and then gave them to a younger cousin with littles.
