Two big finishes

 I have just finished these two baby shawls for twins born this week.

The designs are both by Anne Hanson and knit with yarn from Bendigo woollen mills.

I used classic 3ply in Almond for both.

The one above is rosebuddie

and the one below is Honey baby

I enjoyed knitting both of these and am looking forward to gifting these along with the quilts for the babies.

When I am back home again I will be back to the sewing machine and some more finishes.

September excitement

September has started off in a very exciting way

This is our new grand daughter.

It has been fun knitting and stitching for her and there will lots more to do in the future.

I have another finish for September

This is for one of my great nieces. She will be two later this month.

We are heading home from grandparenting duties tomorrow so there should be a variety of other finishes happening in the next few weeks.
