This lovely little jacket has double sided cable bands and required the cables to be grafted together at the centre of the hood. So it was a real learning experience but turned out well.

I finally have a finish for December, a quilt for my god-daughter for her 12th birthday

It was hand pieced and partly hand quilted and now I have finished it with machine quilting.

This quilt was a long time in the making, about 11 years.

It is good to have it done

I am very pleased with this finish as it is the first time I have done free motion machine quilting on a quilt.
I did it around the applique and I am pleased with the way it turned out.
